Sheldron Fulcher, Program Coordinator of Spirit, Pride & Tradition Teams

Sheldron joins UConn after stints at the University of Mt. Olive and Campbell University in North Carolina and brings with him coaching and coordinating experience. He also holds active roles as a Head Instructor, Choreographer and Collegiate Staff Instructor in the National Cheerleaders Association as well as several certifications as a judge for Varsity Brands. Sheldron holds a B.A. from North Carolina State University as well as an MBA and Masters of Science in Leadership from Grand Canyon University.

Kristen Cullen, Dance Coach 

Kristen grew up dancing in CT and has also trained in NY and Miami. She was a professional dancer with the WNBA Connecticut Sun and NLL Black Wolves. Kristen has been working with dancers for 10 years now and is the Founder and Director of Rise Dance & Training. She prides herself on helping athletes realize their full potential through teamwork, mindset and hard work.

Idris Boyer, Cheerleading Coach 

Idris grew up in Waterbury CT where he began his cheerleading career at Crosby High School. He is a former student and cheerleader here at the University of Connecticut (99-04). He brings with him coaching experience at the All-Star level with Spirit All-Star and East Celebrity Elite and the Collegiate level with Southern Connecticut State University. Idris has also held roles in many other areas of cheer including UCA Head Instructor, Judging and Scoring coordinator for the JAM Brands, and Choreographer for teams throughout the US and Europe. He is passionate about cheer and loves to train his athletes to be the best that they can be on and off the floor.
