Clinic: 10:00 AM-12:00 PM
Lunch (not provided): 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM at the Student Union
Gampel/Game Check-In: 12:30 PM
Ages 4 to 14 years old
Participant Cost ($50) Includes: A pregame Dance Clinic (all halftime routine material will be taught during this time), a photo op with Jonathan The Husky, t-shirt, shaker poms, the opportunity to perform at halftime of the UConn Women’s Basketball Game vs. Temple at 1:00 PM at Gampel Pavilion, and a game ticket for the participant. Same day registrations will not be accepted and no refunds will be given for enrolled participants.
Family/Friend Tickets Available ($26): Family/Friends will be allowed to purchase 2 Family/Friend Tickets per participant. Ticket(s) can be picked up at the clinic registration table. There are no refunds. Additional game tickets can be purchased through the UConn Athletics ticket office at: www.UConnTickets.com. There is no guarantee of ticket availability via Athletics. Additional Family/Friend tickets may be available through the clinic after the close of registration. An email will be sent to those registered with more details if available.
Attire/What To Pack: Participants should wear navy and white comfortable athletic clothing and sneakers. UConn gear is always a plus! No jewelry is allowed (including earrings). T-Shirts to be worn for the performance will be distributed at check-in. Please pack a lunch, water, and snacks! (Refrigeration is not available)
Location Information: Hugh S. Greer Field House is located on Hillside Road across from the Student Union on UConn’s Storrs Campus. Game day parking is available in both the North and South Garage for a fee. Please be aware that parking on campus on game days can be challenging. Please leave enough time to park and arrive at the Field House on time. A Campus Map can be located here.
Day-of Information: Doors will open for check-in at 9:30 AM. Parents/guardians should pick up any Family/Friend tickets purchased through this process at check-in. We do ask that parents do not stay during the clinic. After the clinic, staff will escort the participants to the Student Union for lunch/Gampel Pavilion for the game and will remain with the participants through the end of the performance. After the performance, they will be escorted to West Entrance of Gampel Pavilion and their authorized pick up person can pick them up there. Individuals authorized to pick up their child/children will need to have an ID that matches the name on the list. Please email email@example.com with any questions.
Pre-Registration/Payment Information: A Pre-Registration Form must be submitted no later than 12:00 noon on Tuesday, February, 5, 2019. Submission of the online pre-registration form does not guarantee enrollment in the clinic. After you’ve completed the Pre-Registration Form you will be given further information and a link to make your payment. Payments must be received in full by Wednesday, February 6, 2019. Late submissions or late payments will not be accepted.
NOTE: Space is limited. If our registration capacity is met, pre-registration material – including credit card refunds – will be returned to pre-registrants who are not enrolled in the clinic.
